I’d like a cuddle buddy. I’m not really physically attracted to my wife of 8 years, nor her I. We love each others minds dearly.

She has a boyfriend who lives with us, I do not. I’m not sure if I want one. Women don’t seem to want to talk to me online. Wife says I should not mention her on my online dating profile. I think that may be viewed as lying, and even though it’s not others may see it as cheating.

I’m not sure what to do.

Everyone who talks to me on the phone thinks I’m female. I have a gender neutral short name and a very soft voice.

I don’t have a problem with this, it amuses me and lets me be more friendly and easy going since in a lot of cases people talk to me differently if they think I am female.

My coworkers think I should use my full male name so people know I’m male. I don’t see why I should. It’s not tricking people if they assume. It makes me happy. If people ask, I tell.

I like plump people. Some people can’t handle weight well, but a lot can.

I think the word chubby is cute. I always thought curvy is descriptive. I unfollowed a body positive blog because they tag the posts fat. That doesn’t seem right.

I don’t force the fact that I’m in a poly relationship on anyone. I think I’m pretty good at not hiding it either. I talk about my wife and my roommate. Every once in a while someone picks up on that and asks “you are married and you have a roommate?”

The next question is usually “is the roommate male or female?” I guess because they assume I’m the one. I get funny looks when I answer male.

I only explain if they ask how that works. One person said they didn’t want to know. They asked for details the next day.

My wife is poly, we love each other very much and I get along great with her boyfriend. He lives with us.
